For more than twenty years, the Kneller family -an Israeli family that immigrated to the U.S. owned a motel called the Towne Lyne Motel, where they also lived. The 19-room motel housed a diverse and colorful cast of guests. Its rooms and walls were silent witnesses that seemed to hold the stories of what unfolded within them, infidelities, suicides, illicit relationships, drug trafficking, disappearances. The family found themselves living alongside these tales. Over time, the family’s own life began to mirror the chaotic and vivid world that existed inside those motel rooms.
