Shimon Holy, a brilliant, one of a kind guitar hero from Haifa, was once a major promise in the city’s music and cultural scene of the 1970s. One night in 1980, he meets the world’s greatest guitarist for a spellbinding jam session that changes his life. Then he disappears. What remains is a local legend and a rare recording that suggests it all really happened. The film sets out to find him, but also to trace the legend, the city of Haifa, and what’s left of that scene. Through conflicting memories, old friends, and sounds still lingering in the air, a story unfolds about talent, missed chances, and the fine line between life and myth.
